Carol and I followed up the "Summer of the Wedding" with a fantastic road trip through much of the western U.S. which only inspired us to see more of this amazing country in the years to come.
So..... believe it or not - we are on the verge of our next world experience and we are traveling to Southeast Asia for 8 weeks and looking forward to seeing Stuart and Sara during the last 2 weeks there - as they finish up their own 2 1/2 month Honeymoon through the same area.
Along with connecting with Stuart and Sara we are looking forward to visiting my cousin,
Mary Helen's son, Brian who lives in Bangkok with his wife and 2 girls.
Carol and I will be travelling in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.
We are packed and ready to go - with each of us carrying about 20 lb travel packs and making plans as we go along.
We fly out on Tuesday, January 13 and return on March 10

Oh boy!!! Southeast Asia on $5 a day; by the way that is the title of your new book that you will write upon your return home. I want the first signed copy with things like “how to find an elder hostel for under $10 a day”. You guys backpacking brings back my memory of the 60’s. All you need is the long hair and pork chop sideburns. Holy cow!! Enjoy. Salyer
