A New Year

2014 was a special year for us with our son Stuart's marriage to Sara Cozad, which in a sense starts a new chapter for all of us.  The support and well wishes of friends and family made the occasion all the more special and forming connections with Sara's family is an enriching new aspect of Stuart and Sara's marriage.

Carol and I followed up the "Summer of the Wedding" with a fantastic road trip through much of the western U.S. which only inspired us to see more of this amazing country in the years to come.

So..... believe it or not -  we are on the verge of our next world experience and we are traveling to Southeast Asia for 8 weeks and looking forward to seeing Stuart and Sara during the last 2 weeks there - as they finish up their own 2 1/2 month Honeymoon through the same area.

Along with connecting with Stuart and Sara we are looking forward to visiting my cousin,

Mary Helen's son, Brian who lives in Bangkok with his wife and 2 girls.

Carol and I will be travelling in Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam.

 

We are packed and ready to go -  with each of us carrying about 20 lb travel packs and making plans as we go along.

 

We fly out on Tuesday, January 13 and return on March 10
